About Me
Hi! I'm Jacquelyn Fisher, a 27-year-old web designer and developer, artist, and writer. I currently live in Northern Virginia, USA, not too far from Washington, D.C., but I am hoping to move back to the southwest in a few months. At the moment I am finishing a bachelors of arts degree in Multimedia Design and Development with a focus on web design and development, and I am also looking for a job in the web design/development field.
Web design/development has been a hobby of mine since 1998 and my profession since 2008. I thoroughly enjoy turning a blank page into something beautiful, elegant, and interactive. I am proficient in (x)HTML and CSS and have working knowledge of XML, PHP, Javascript, and jQuery. Some tools of the trade include Adobe Creative Suite's Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, Flash, and some Illustrator.
I also have work experience as a marketing assistant in which my job included designing and printing marketing materials, assisting in the planning and coordination of annual and monthly community events, writing articles for the local newspaper, and much more.
